Excellent value, although clearly over priced when new.
Costs
Always get just over 30mpg, which is excellent for the way I drive!

Driving
Good road holding, but a little bit bumpy - not helped by low profile tyres. Braking performance only just adequate.
Performance
Very torquey engine, with power when you need it. It moves well for the money.

Very good so far, but it is what you would expect from a modern Ford.

My model is the Cougar II - very few of these around. Good looking car, best in metallic green.

Good in the front. Very good sized boot.
