£4000 in march 2001. Not the best value, but an A1 car.

Thirsty around town. Geared quite highly, so has to be worked hard to be nippy.

  • On the road

    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

For an estate, great fun, a bit wallowy, but all controllable enough.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

Nice and fast when provoked. Great at motorway speeds.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    5 out of 5 5.0

Touch wood, no problems. Needed a new battery, but thats it.

Not good. A family man's car, but a bit of a wolf in sheeps clothing when it has to be!

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Sports interior as standard. Nice supportive seats. Mine has the optional a/c, so good really.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

Immobiliser standard, but no alarm. I think all cars should have one as standard, it's not like they're expensive!

    Service

    1 out of 5 1.0

Haven't bothered with main dealers, it's a ford!!!
