What does this car say about you?
I had the basic of all the models, no fog lights, spoiler, alloy wheels nothing sporty about it. i would get jealous of the gti's, rs2000's & cossies flying about so it said i wasn't adventourous... or very poor
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Rust bucket...
Would you buy this car again and why?
I wouldnt say no to a well maintained rs2000

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Loved the motorway journeys. Cruising at 70mph at 3,000rpm in best suited for this car. OK driving through town but its a heavy car for a 1.6 engine & it lacked excitement.
What's it like to park?
Parking was a doddle despite it being bigger than other hatchbacks

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Not much has gone right. Water pump, drive belt & cam belt went on the same day. Then pretty much the whole water system. Rust would appear every time i washed it.
What's most practical about your car?
I brought it with 118k on the clock & have since done a furhter 20k in 10 months. Despite the faults, it keeps on going whatever the weather.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Electric windows can be a novelty in old cars so happy to have them. Power steering also a must have.
