Value
Introduction of Focus has dropped RS2000 prices, even though the Focus RS variant is a year away.
Costs
Cheap parts and service, good fuel economy, but insurance (Group 16-17) is a BIG hit.

Grippy and predictable handling on wet or dry roads inspires confidence.
Performance
Still entertains, even after 3 years of ownership. Not much to touch it for the money.

Reliability
Very reliable as long as you keep up the service schedule. Parts at front of engine bay (starter motor etc) prone to heat soak from tubular exhaust mainfold.

Looks nice in black or dark metallic blue, but only the badge differentiates it from all the Escort Si"s & GTi"s out there.
Comfort
Very comfortable in the front, but rear passengers get a harsher ride and rear quarter-lights don"t open.

Mk 6 is very stealthy. Take the RS2000 badge off and thieves won"t bother with it.

Ford dealerships available in almost every town. No problems encountered.
