  • Summary

    4 out of 5 4.0

What does this car say about you?

That I was sensible at the time when I bought it - insurance was a large factor as I was 17 at the time and it cost me £2000 to insure it as its a 1.4 Zetec, would recommend a smaller engine capacity and lesser trim level if your young to save some £'s)

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They all seem to like it as the majority of my friends drive 10+ year old cars except the few who drive new cars due to having generous parents

Would you buy this car again and why?

At the time it was a car that suited me, and was the best choice. But I wouldn't have another as Im after a more stylish car with more badge kudos & somethng that can deliver driving thrills.

What are you likely to buy next?

Probably a MINI convertible - they're brilliant fun to drive!

    November 2007

Did you get a good deal and why?

Not sure, could have saved money buying privatly but then theres not the piece of mind like you get when buying from a dealer.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I wanted a newer and safter car than I was driving at the time and the Fiesta seemed like a good choice

Very good, clean and tidy premisis. Helpful staff and communication was very good indeed.

  • Driving it

    What's it like to drive?

Very responsive and quite nippy for a 1.4. Although for any 'performance' you need to stir the gearbox to get it going - that said I'm impressed with how quick it is when you want it to be!

    What's it like to park?

Its not bad at all, side mirrors could do with being a touch larger. The steerings nice and light when manouvering too.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

    Nope

What's most practical about your car?

There isn't anything thats practical in terms of space as small hatchbacks are designed to be economical and a means to get from A to B (although it is a roomy car considering it is a hatchback). The long doors aid access to the rear seats well, but thats about all on the practicality front.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Remote central locking - its nothing amazing as pretty much every car has it now, but my old car didnt have it, so its a luxury in comparison.
