Excellent roadholding for bog standard workhorse, good adjustments on steering colum and seat, which winds up or down.
Performance
Obviously, the 1.4 is a bit underpowered, but it's ok and it gets you there.

First class, has let me down once, in over 60,000 miles.

This is my second Focus, and I have driven over 120,000 miles in under five years, and I have no complaints.

Pretty standard. Not brilliant, but not bad.

Both my Focuses have had problems with electronic govenors, easily replaced.

Paintwork, especially bumper, seems easily marked.
