Never, Ford should be ashamed to put their name to it after what they offered with the mark one Focus.

What are you likely to buy next?

Back to a Mondeo straight away. Had one after my first Focus. The 2.0 TDCi engine is just superb, outstanding infact. Pleanty of pull and power seems limitless. Excells on the motorway.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Decent deal, with a sizeable deposit however, only £90 a month on finance

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Had an old shape Focus and it was briilliant, foolishly thought this one would match up !! Wrong

What's it like to drive?

Poor. Unbelievably slow, even with 113bhp, had to be taken to red line to get any response at all. 2000 W- Reg old shape 1.6 Zetec embarrasses its replacement.

What's it like to park?

Fairly easy, though steering overly light for my taste

Have you had any problems with the car?

Juffering from front wheels when in second, Ford themselves said it was a 'characteristic' of the variable camshaft timing. What rubbish...

What's most practical about your car?

Cheap to insure
