In their own words

Loved the park itself feature, easy to drive and comfortable. Sad this model did not do heated front seats. I was generally pleased with the car till around 52,000 miles it lost power whilst driving and the result was a cracked the cylinder head. The new parts cost well over £2000 to repair and test. I contacted Ford as this was a known issue with the Focus 1 litre ecoboost but they said I had not received a recall on mine and the 1.5 engines didn’t have this problem. I disputed the fact mine did and filled in all the forms they requested me too, the garage fitted the new parts and tested the cylinder head as requested but in the end Ford refused to compensate and take any responsibility for this engine fault. I had always had Fords before and was very disappointed in their attitude and IMO total lack of customer care. The car has had several intermittent faults since and I am now in the process of buying another car..... definitely not a Ford this time!
