In their own words

The itself was good until the complete failure of the power steering whilst in use. Luckily this was on a quiet road and was able to coast to safety - the reprecussions if this had occured elsewhere don't bear thinking about. Ford Customer Service were AWFUL! Truly truly awful. Unlike any other make I have had cause to claim under warranty or via goodwill (including a Volvo claim the same week) Ford dealer refused / isnt allowed to call Ford on your behalf. And calling them isnt easy, and they will only speak to the V5 holder (god knows how that works if its owned by a company)... endless obstacles in the hope that you will go away. Two weeks later and was offered £600 towards a £1500 bill on a safety critical issue, on a car 3 months out of warranty and done only 20k with a full history. No apology, nothing. If I can ever make contact again I will reject the offer. (Volvo by contrast organised everything and my only input to the entire process was making the appointment for it to go back and be fixed). Ford customer service is abysmal. AVOID.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

Power steering failure whilst being used at only 21k miles and 3 months outside warranty. Ford offered only 35% of costs.
