Summary
What does this car say about you?
Its a drivers car, it doesnt get too much attention in the colour I chose (Sea Grey) and yet i still get nods of recognition from other ST drivers
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They all like it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, because its a Ford, which means you get bundles of equipment for little outlay. (the other review on here which states the boot light drains the battery is nonsence, all cars left with the tailgate open all day will drain the battery, this is a dealership over looking this and causing the problem - NOT THE CAR)
What are you likely to buy next?
Next car will likely be another Focus but possibly something more sensible like an 1800cc. (ford need to sort out the brake arrangement on their run of the mill cars. 1.6 and 1.8 focus sill only have drums on the rear!)

Buying experience

Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£16,000
When did you buy the car?
May 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
The car was 10 months old and had done only 800 (Eight Hundred) miles, the body work is perfect and still smelled like new
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Couldnt stomach driving a Diesel any longer
What was the dealer like?
English Ford were very good, I went to see my usual sales person and she looked after me very well

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Fantastic to drive, It corners like nothing else in its class.
What's it like to park?
Parking is good. No rear sensors on the ST-2 (unlike my last car), but its not hard to park. If I change my mind I'll consider having a hidden sensor strip fitted behind the bumper
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing has gone wrong, but I'm extremely fussy, and there are a couple of creaks from the interior plastics when the car gets hot in the sun
What's most practical about your car?
boot size, and its a ford, so most jobs can be done by anyone with basic motoring knowledge
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The Turbo, and submarine lights
