Value
Best features of a 4 X 4 car and Minibus rolled into one.
Costs
Servicing is ok but when something goes wrong it can hurt the wallet. Get a low mileage one of you can afford it and get a warranty and you will be fine.

Driving
Good for an MPV, but seats better suited to the ample rear if you know what I mean. Auto smooth, once I replaced the box (£1500) Could do with cruise though.
Performance
Powerful diesel with good acceleration. Brakes excellent.

Reliability
Engine good, ABS and Airbags needed repairing (114K) and auto box needed recon (£1500) at 118K. Brakes (Discs/Pads - £120 for both DIY).

Regarded as an Airport Taxi or family transport for the careless.
Comfort
Great comfort the family. Rear two seats okay for adults, but better suited to kids or teenagers on long journeys.

Mine had a toad alarm and immobiliser fitted. No problems.

Ford garages vary hugely. My Local Garage in Westbury is excellent.
