Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

I traded in a very nice Focus Zetec S estate which I really liked to buy the Cmax as we were having a second child and I couldn't fit the car seat behind me so I wasn't too happy to start with, the car was a good spec and colour though but unfortunately it had several small dents and scratches that I didn't spot until I got it home as it was wet when I saw it and collected it and as the Ford garage was 3 hours away I stupidly never took it back, then the wheel arch and door started to rust, and the lacquer on the bumper all came off, Not good for a 3 year old car from a dealer. Other than that mechanically it's been very good, it has 18" tyres which pop easily if you hit a pot hole though. My biggest bugbear is that the 1.6 TDCi is underpowered for the weight of the car in my opinion making is sluggish and not at all economical and personally I prefer estate cars to MPVs although my wife likes the car as she finds the sliding doors easier to get the kids out of in car parks.

How reliable do you find the car?

In over 3 years mechanically it's been very good other than needing routine stuff like brakes and tyres
