In their own words

So bought a used Ford Grand Tourneo with the Powershift Auto.. Also test drove the manual.. but preferred the auto. Plenty of space and ours is actually a Wheelchair converted van by Gowrings so its actually a 4 seater with wheelchair in the back. Its absolutely brilliant at what it does. Its comfortable on longer journeys, cruisers very well and the handling is surprising nimble. The diesel 1.5 120bhp has plenty of torque so it never feels strained though obviously the power does drop off eventually. Heated windscreen was a bonus.. Have put decent Michelin tyres on and no worries about road noise. Has had 2 repairs, One was the air con radiator had a leak but was covered under the RAC warranty I had got with the van. The other was a Ford Recall where they resealed the panoramic roof. It is 7 year old after all. The only thing worth noting is that the turning circle is not great, so you need to allow for that.. Tight car parks need a bit more care. The only thing we habe added is an aftermarket reversing camera which I think is a must these days. people just tend not to stop and wait if your reversing. Altogether pleasantly surprised by this van
