Value
Only paid £5k, and it has a better stereo than a Focus zetec.
Costs
40mpg is not that good considering its size.

On the road
Driving
Handles very well, but crashes through potholes. PAS is a bit anaethetised.
Performance
Typical small car. Building momentum takes ages, so don't brake if you can avoid it!

Living with it
Reliability
Never let me down, although the battery went flat when I left the radio on once.

I like it. Some people don't. Light coloured ones with the black bumpers look pants.
Comfort
Used to regularly drive 300 mile trips in it no problem. Wish I'd stumped up the extra for Air Con though. Sun visors are too low, so you can't see out at all if you use them. (I'm 5' 11").

Probably easy to get in, but it has an immobiliser.
Service
Handbrake stuck on, so I took it to my loal independent garage to fix as it is nearer. He reckons that the drums had never been removed, despite 5 dealer services.

Leaking top hose (but then it has done 55,000 miles).

Check exhaust back box - seems to rot quickly.
