Value
Cost me £3750 in March 2003 (totally bog-standard model).
Costs
Never hand to spend out. Tyres are cheap. Power steering rack went (just got in under warranty).

Driving
A little bumpy. Breaks are not too sharp. Doesn't corner as well as you would expect for a small car.
Performance
A little unresponsive, but gets to 60 quick. Book says 97 - I got 110mph

Never broken down... yet.

A girl's car that more and more men are buying! Look good done up.
Comfort
Seats can be uncomfortable on long journeys as well as leg and side room. I'm 6'4".

Standard Ford immobiliser. No break-in attempts. Steering lock didn't come on the other day... ignition barrel didn't fully retract.
Service
Ford are tossers - they waste your time and try to charge you for everything. Their service is disgusting.

Once started to over-rev between gears, but may have been due to me ragging it.

Inside plastic interior scratches easily. Aerial doesn't like car washes.
