Competent and quite well specced for the money. I saved £1500 buying from a car supermarket.

Insurance is £200 p.a. fully comp; 45 mpg without effort; cheap servicing.

Entertaining - very nimble, real point n squirt responses.
Performance
Adequately nippy but not fast - would be fun with the 1.4 Zetec engine.

Local Ford dealer was miffed I bought from a supermarket, but he had not been prepared to talk about a sensible discount. Servicing generally OK until fault developed immediately after recall check.
