When did you buy the car?

    February 2013

Did you get a good deal and why?

He took the price down for me, as the tax & MOT was due. So in a way yes. Car had no damage, even at it's age. So was good value for money.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I've always liked Ford Ka's and it looked well looked after.

    What was the dealer like?

Friendly, let me test drive the car on the day I looked at it. Had all the paperwork up to date. Had his own garage that was MOT licensed. However, asked for cash in hand,.

  • Driving it

    What's it like to drive?

OK. Can accelerate quite quick. Takes a while to reach a high speed, doesn't really go past 80 MPH. Need to change down when going uphill, struggles. However is small so parking is easy. Steering is easy to handle, corners are fine. Easy to maneuver.

    What's it like to park?

Fine, can fit into small spaces. Can turn quite easily. However can be difficult to judge distance as bonnet is low e.g how close you are to a wall as you can't see front of car. Might be down to driver.

Have you had any problems with the car?

A few things. Failed MOT on anti roll bar & windscreen wipers. Speedometer broke and engine kept misfiring. All resolved.

What's most practical about your car?

It is small so can fit into almost any car parking space, can squeeze through small gaps etc. Quite cheap on petrol.
