Value
The Luxury is expensive new, if you pay Ford prices.
Costs
Service interval every 10K, although I get the oil and filter replaced every 5K. 26 - 45 mpg across all driving types is adequate.

Tenacious grip, very quick steering and supple ride - best in class. Can't fault it!
Performance
The Endura-E is an aged powerplant. It works okay, but the party is spoiled by the 1.25 litre Zetec-SE (which is so much better).

Nothing has gone wrong in 8K, but I don't expect anything to!

Cheeky image, which still looks fresh some 5 years later.
Comfort
Lovely supple ride, lots of room in the front. The Luxury gets a fantastic full leather interior and air conditioning.

Remote radio locking and Ford's immobiliser, but no alarm.

We bought it online, and the service was adequate. My usual Ford dealership are *much* better.
