Superbly equipped car that puts other higher priced marques to shame.

    Good.

    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

Pulls to the left as soon as tyres have done a couple of thousand miles - tracking is fine however…

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

Very good. TDCi 130 engine is amazing for mid-range acceleration.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    2 out of 5 2.0

    Very disappointing…

It's a Mondeo and it will always be seen as a fleet car regardless which model you have be it an LX or an ST220.

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

    Very comfortable seats.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

No one has tried to take it as far as I know so I guess it's ok!

    Service

    1 out of 5 1.0

Ford need to listen to their customers rather than just churning out cars and pandering to the fleet market.

  • Problems and Ownership

    Problems

    Engine

Great when it works, but the TDCi doesn't work very well very often - seems to be the norm and the dealers are powerless to fix it to an acceptable level and Ford just don't care - they keep churning them out regardless.

    Other

Minor sqeaks / rattles etc from engine department when cold, ok once warmed up.
