The mondeo is very good value to buy second hand.

The driving experience is good.
Performance
The 1.8TD is the worst engine ever. Taken from a 20 year old Transit van, it is no where near the 2.0DTi of the same age Vectra.

The Mondeo is the worst car for reliability I have known - everything that can go wrong has gone wrong.

As with the Vectra, the image isn't there compared to the Laguna etc…
