I bought it for a reasonable price and despite the problems I've had, it is a great driver's car.
Costs
Petrol is good, and insurance isn't bad.

Driving
Not too pleasant around town, but fun to drive on the M, A and B roads.
Performance
A heavy car, but there's a bit of life under the bonnet at high speed.

Living with it
Reliability
Mine's been awful for its age - head gasket and 8 valves blew at 63k. Last servicing was £350 for relatively minor problems.

With the exception of the ST24, it's the best looking of the Mk2.

Very comfortable, but not for town trips.
