I like comfort and sportiness in equal measures

Most loved the look, others hated it (very strange bubble Ford look!)
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes I would, for the drive alone! Fuel economy was shocking though (25-30mpg MAX!)

Yes, £950 for a good condition Mondeo with 83k on clock and lots and lots of history

Big, comfy commuter car

Not a dealer, trader from home, was pleasant to deal with

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Amazing, grips the road like nothing I have ever driven, suspension is pretty soft yet body control is spot on (better than previous Focus' I have owned), fast when you need it.
What's it like to park?
Nightmare, no idea where the end of the boot is, very low so hard to judge length, bonnet very long (which is why I hit a bollard!). Side very curved

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Central locking solenoid, 2x droplinks, lots of tyres, clutch (£300), cambelt (routine), leak in front footwell, leak in boot, leak from roof (no sunroof!), cracked rear bumper (damage caused by me), headlight adjusters broke, air-con re-gas (routine), heated front windscreen never worked, CD player jumped all the time, alarm stopped working, cigarette lighter kept popping fuses, tracking very badly out, wheels needed balancing all the time, air-bag light kept coming on, boot trim always loose/fell off
What's most practical about your car?
Big boot, lots of room in the front
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Factory fit 16"/205 wheels, spoiler, panther black paintwork, standard CD player/air con/heated windscreen, height adjustable drivers seat (elec) & rake/reach adjustable steering column
