Bought 3 & half years ago for £4,100, now worth about £1,900.
Costs
Fuel economy OK, but tyres are pricey due to size & speed rating.

Handles as well on the on the twisty stuff as it does on the motorway.

Air-conditioning condenser, front suspension bottom arm bushes and leaky rear light seals.

It's a Mondeo. Though metallic paint, alloys and a subtle tailgate spoiler give it an edge over the others.
Comfort
Good supportive seats and comfy enough on the long haul.

Standard Ford immobiliser & deadlocks, but it hasn't been stolen yet.
Service
I bought the car privately, though Chipping Sodbury Motor Company, are a friendly, helpful and reasonably priced Ford main dealer.

Responsive and willing, though now at 99,000 miles it doesn't pull quite as well as it did at 35,000.

Air-con. Its very expensive to fix and a common problem check before you buy, I did and it cost the seller £475 to put it right.
