Great second-hand buy; I picked it up at a year old for £10,500.
Costs
Manages about 35 mpg over longer trips, slightly less in town - much more affordable than its 2.5 V6 big brother.

Great motorway cruiser - lots of electrics make it comfortable too.
Performance
Not bad for a 2-litre - handles OK as it"s shod with 205/55 R16 tyres.

No major problems in two years of ownership. New brakes and the usual wear and tear stuff.

A Mondeo"s a Mondeo, isn"t it? At least this one has nice looking alloys.
Comfort
Decent suspension and good leather seats make it like Club Class on BA.

Only had one Ford service and it cost me dearly. A car like this can be serviced adequately at Halfords - take it there and make sure you avoid the pricey main dealer parts!
