What does this car say about you?
Not much, it's just your average Mondeo with some nice wheels on.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They liked it. It was a nice colour and looked well.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No. Reliability is a big issue with these cars, especially the TDCi engine. It's a shame really, as they drive so well.
What are you likely to buy next?
Replaced after 6 months with an Avensis.

Car was cheap considering the age of it.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Cheap and nice looking car, and I needed a diesel.

I bought privately from someone I know in the trade.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Excellent. Suspension and steering were way above what you expect of a car in this class. The 6-speed gearbox was very nice to use. Plenty of performance even though the engine wasn't very well.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
EGR valve failed and all 4 diesel injectors needed replacing - lots of black smoke and rattling. This engine really is troublesome!
What's most practical about your car?
A large car, so plenty of space.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Heated windscreen. The Zetec-S bumpers and 18" diamond-cut alloys looked great.
