Value
Ghia X diesel purchased in Belgium, so £6000 saving. Car was considered to be good value for money.
Costs
For the majority of owners, costs will be low, but beware high mileage cars as I and my colleagues have experienced.

Driving
TDI to be avoided. New TDCi seems to be the car to have.
Performance
Ample motorway cruiser, but TDi is unrefined in town driving.

Reliability
Up to 80,000 miles reliability is good, however after this be prepared for some high repair costs.

Good looking car. Good build quality and good interior.
Comfort
Comfortable car, however the 17" alloys with low profile tyres on Ghia do jeopardise comfort.

Car's out of warranty. Mondeo 'built to last'? Obviously not.

Diesel pump rear cost £430+vat and labour. Common fault. 20 Mondeos in fleet have needed replacement.

More than 50% of our fleet have experienced above problems.
