What does this car say about you?

I like the styling, at insurance group 16 I could have gone for a cheaper car to insure but it is a nice car to drive and look at, always turn around and give it a look as you walk away from it! it doesnt need big wings or skirts the only thing I changed was those suspect alloy wheels it came with!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

My car is black so I've had the knight rider jokes and people calling me Micheal Knight! people are always shocked when you tell them just how much I paid for it... My dad is impressed that you can go to Birmingham and back easily on £20 of fuel (which is excellent for a car this size) around town its not so generous on fuel! It always gets heads turning for the simple reason you dont see many of them anymore and people have no idea what it is! you'll catch people having a good look while its parked up... lots of flash for little cash

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, but with the ages of these cars now I think its time to move to something newer!

What are you likely to buy next?

    Hyundia Coupe maybe

    August 2005

Did you get a good deal and why?

A sleek, sporty looking car packed with the type of equipment you dont get on modern cars for under a grand.... yeah I got a good deal

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

    Price, looks, equipment!

    What was the dealer like?

  • Driving it

    What's it like to drive?

Grip is excellent never taken me by surprise unless you go into a bend with no fear you may get some understeer but you have to push it to make it lose its footing! Speed-wise its not lightening, of the mark its no faster than an average family saloon, but the motorway is where this car owns the road cruising at modern motorway speeds is relaxing and smooth, even at 70 if you tap the pedel you can see the car squat showing its still got lots more speed to give

    What's it like to park?

power steering is light, excellent visiblitly with all that glass! the front takes some judging when you first get in the car as it drops to a point very sharply, plus you got an extra 6/7 inchs ahead of the headlights when they're on so dont use them as a guide point!

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing Major (touch wood) one headlight has gone a little dull but I've found the problem and am sorting it as we speak! but really... not a thing!

What's most practical about your car?

The Boot... its the size of the Cargo hold on an ocean liner! and with the seats folded down you can play a game of football....ok maybe not that big but its the biggest boot I've seen on a non-estate car!!

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Cruise Control, and the pop up headlights... not many cars that have them so turns a few heads! nice stereo too!
