Value
Bought second hand - a real bargain.
Costs
It hasn't cost me any more to run than my Sierra, but parts can be more expensive if you don't know where to look.

On the road
Driving
It is a delight to drive. Long journeys are fantastic - Cruise control on & relax.
Performance
There are faster cars on the road but has plenty of power when needed. Handles well in corners (especially with strut bars fitted).

Living with it
Reliability
I do roughly 20k miles per year - Tyre & break wear are better than any other car I've owned. I have not had any major/expensive problems (a flat battery once).

Everybody is impressed with the car, as am I when I see another Probe.
Comfort
I find it the most comfortable car I've had. Head & legroom for a 6ft 6in person are great.

Alarm & immobiliser fitted as standard give good peace of mind.
Service
Having bought second hand I didn't buy through a Manufacturers franchise. All the work on the car is done by me or independant garages.

None at all, Purrs like a kitten.
Other
Central locking motors failed after 6 months, have now fitted solenoids.
