Honda Accord Coupe 1994-
  • Economy

    Value

    5 out of 5 5.0

Cheap, now in banger territory. Comfort and different looking for minimal money.

    Costs

    5 out of 5 5.0

Low value car, reasonable insurance (despite group 17!), thirsty at 25-30 mpg. Rarely needs parts, some could be hard to acquire as this is a US model.

    Driving

    3 out of 5 3.0

Definitely not sporty. Accurate steering, but not great handling. Torque steer, slow off the mark BUT remarkable v-tec performance at higher speeds.

    Performance

Big, heavy car, slow off the mark BUT remarkable v-tec performance at higher speeds.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    5 out of 5 5.0

115 K, only tyres and exhausts - try that for impressive BMW!

    Image

    2 out of 5 2.0

Better than saloon, still dubious - drive it for cheap long-distance cruising, smart but no looker.

    Comfort

    5 out of 5 5.0

Most comfortable and spacious coupe I have ever owned, far better than Prelude or Celica if you can live with the 'executive' feel.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    5 out of 5 5.0

Excellent, alarm and factory immobiliser - VERY annoying to de-activate every time.

    Service

    5 out of 5 5.0

I won't let Honda near it! DIY, they happily supply original parts when needed.

Absolute gem, like new at 115K, should do 200K.

    Other

Trim can be weak, easily damaged, leather rips if not careful.
