For all the car you get, it's well worth it.
Costs
Bit hefty on fuel when thrashed, but nice on motorways.

6 months on and I'm not bored yet. Never happened before - I'm normally bored of a car after 3 months.
Performance
Beats Golf GTIs. 1.8 non-turbo off at the lights :)

Ok, agreed, it is a grandad car, but who cares - it's cheap insurance.

Couldn't ask for anything more. Cruise control makes mince-meat of motorways.
