Value
Paid little more than other types, but reliability and re-sale price justified extra.
Costs
Reasonable costs, but would be better if I had a lighter foot.

On the road
Driving
Good forward visibility. Excellent light steering. Not the best rear visibility and tight parking took some time to get used to.
Performance
Surprisingly quick and responsive. Good clean getaway and handles motorways well. 30 limit always under threat-it gets there very easily.

Living with it
Reliability
Absolutely no problems so far. 75 k on clock and everything smooth and easy. Some corrosion on exhaust, but no more than you would expect. History of getting through brake pads, but that's too be expected with an auto.

Ok it's a bit bland and gets lost in the usual 5 dr hatch scene, but at least it doesn't attract too much of the wrong kind of attention.
Comfort
Good leg space. Good variable seat positions, I prefer a more upright position and headroom just about ok for my 6 2, but if tight you can easily lower seat.

Immobiliser and alarm good, but a Civic hopefully won't attract too much attention.
