What does this car say about you?
That I drive an average practical car with no frills?!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Not a lot - scrubs up nicely when its clean, thanks to the metallic green paint.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Probably not as its quite old now. The version that replaced it doesn't really appeal as it looks too bland. The modern Civic is very nice but a bit out of my price range I think... Once I got the car sorted, it was more age related things that went wrong really. For every day use the car is great.
What are you likely to buy next?
Something with a few toys a higher spec Mondeo, Focus, Peugeot 407 or Volvo S40 possibly.

Did you get a good deal and why?
As it turns out, no - it needed about 700 quid spent rectifying faults within a few months. Then the clutch went within 6 months - another 700-odd quid.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Needed something reliable, comfy and practical.
What was the dealer like?
Easy enough to haggle with but wouldn't use again.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Reasonably involving and the exhaust note is quite nice.
What's it like to park?
Easy.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Steering column rattled at speed - had that sorted. Clutch went during a rapid deceleration/braking. Exhaust needed replacing (just age/corrosion) and the catalytic converter needed replacing earlier this year.
What's most practical about your car?
Bags of room, seats are very comfortable, reasonably nippy.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
There isn't much. Although the back seat does fold flat for loads of load space.
