Value
Good value - Solid build quality throughout and proven reliability.
Costs
Good fuel economy - I think I'm getting slightly under the stated 43mpg.

GOOD: Excellent gearshift, all round discs. BAD: Unresponsive electric steering.
Performance
For a 1.6, feels VERY sluggish at low revs. I know this is a VTEC trait, but it's a bit pants.

3dr (unlike 5dr) is a nice looking car and Honda badge is fairly respected.
Comfort
GOOD: Comfortable firm seats, good driving position, air con, pleasant roomy cabin, useful cubby holes. BAD: small boot, no CD.
