  • Summary

    4 out of 5 4.0

What does this car say about you?

Good knowledge on cars, young, stylish.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They love it, they think that it looks astonishingly beautiful. Friends love the standard body kit and say that it makes the car stand out against its rivals such as the golf 1.6 fsi which doesn't look as attractive as the civic.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Not the sport vtec, I would go for the type R.

What are you likely to buy next?

Most probably a Civic Type R FN2 or might even wait for the all new Turbo Type R coming out in 2015!!

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Looks, reliability and low insurance group.

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

Very nippy car and exciting to drive especially on country lanes in the hands of a good driver. Handles really well especially with the Bridgestone Turanza tyres. The ride is quite crashy at times in the town but is expected from sports cars. The ride is beautifully smooth on the motorway. Average mpg about 38.6mpg but if driven economically can easily do about 51.2mpg.

    What's it like to park?

Very easy to park, good all round visibility. Although I must say the car isn't great at certain manoeuvres such as 3 point turn's due to its poor turning circle.

  • Living with it

    4 out of 5 4.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing major so far, just a grinding noise from the input shaft bearing when in first gear but doesn't seem to affect the car in any way.

What's most practical about your car?

Definitely boot space and interior space, probably one of the most spacious hatchbacks.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

    Automatic air conditioning!
