  • Summary

    4 out of 5 4.0

What does this car say about you?

It says I like to drive and some times I like to drive fast but, I'm mature and I prefer a bit more comfort that the boy racers.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They think it's pretty plush and expensive.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yep. If I lost or wrecked this one I'd look for another Type S. Big engine but good ecconomy if you drive it nicely. Affordable yet feels expensive. Has a big 2.0 badge on the front.

What are you likely to buy next?

Dunno. Run this as long as it lasts.

    May 2008

Did you get a good deal and why?

I felt the price was less than I woul;d have expected considering it only had 24k on the clock.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

engine size and because I found good reviews, and of course I'd heard Honda's were very dependable.

    What was the dealer like?

Usual. Try to give you pennies for your car but try to get out of spending any thing on the one you're buying them selves.

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

Engine is super smooth and full of power and pull. People comment on how smooth and quiet the car is. Just drop into 3rd and floor to 80mph without it even feeling like it's trying. I have to say though I notice very small adjustments to the steering feel hard to make. Almost like there's a point you must turn the wheel past before it moves easily. I notice this on motorway and dual carriage way driving. Bit of body roll too if you throw the car around a bit. To be fair though, it's not a type R and the ride is firm without feeling hard so that's to be expected really.

    What's it like to park?

Fine. Not great vision to the rear but the wing mirrors make up for that.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Drop link on the anti-roll system needed replacing just recently. £50 for a tiny part but it's an MOT fail. The guys said it was common failure.

What's most practical about your car?

Huge load space with the seats down. Rear seats fold up nicely. Very easy.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Air con is nice. Heated mirrors too.
