No, there are lots of rattles. The ride quality due to the suspension is bad. It is not uncomfortable not not compliant. Dealership damaged bumper when trying to repair it.

BMW 320d or similar.

Did you get a good deal and why?

The deal was good due to the scrappage scheme. However, I found out later that drivethedeal.com had better deals. I would have saved about £1000 if I bought the car online.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I used to drive a 3.2L v6 averaging 17mpg. When petrol prices hit 128p a litre it became unaffordable! Also, something newer that would have few repair bills.

What was the dealer like?

They were helpful however they did not have a test car.

What's it like to drive?

It drives well. It is not a fast car because of the 1.4 engine. However, it has enough power to maintain motorway speeds and legal backroad driving.

What's it like to park?

A nightmare!

Have you had any problems with the car?

The bumper had become deformed possible factory error. Windscreen washer jets became misaligned. Noisy rear shocks that will be fixed according to dealer. One flat battery after 3 months of use.

What's most practical about your car?

Lots of legroom for passengers and driver. There is plenty of luggage space for such a small car. I managed to take 6 suitcases and 4 people back from a flight home.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The most useful gadget is bluetooth music. I can play songs on my ipod wirelessly to the cars audio system. I quite like the dials and the modern theme.
