In their own words

Almost 2 years and 25,000 trouble free miles. Great looking car - not the common boring box. Plenty of room inside, enormous boot and a comfortable ride. Also the best gearbox I have ever used in 40+ years of driving. Contrary to some reviews, rear visibility is not an issue. Sensors make parking a doddle and the split in the rear screen is just the right height to stop the dazzle of headlights at night. You have trouble to hear the engine running as the car is so quiet - no wind noise, just a bit of tyre roar depending on the road surface. Mine is the EX model with must have heated seats, lots of bells and whistles that all work, and importantly, keep on working. I would happily recommend this car to anybody. The only slight negative stopping me giving it 5 out of 5 would be the lack of power from the petrol engine. It may just be a personal thing, having being used to the extra torque of a diesel engine on my previous 4 cars. I will be changing cars for a newer model in another 6 to 8 months time and will most probably go for the same spec Civic but with the 1.6 diesel engine.

How reliable do you find the car?

Intermittent rubbing noise from front. Back to garage to check but couldn't find anything wrong. New brake pads from National Tyres cured the problem !
