In their own words

We bought the Honda Civic SR auto last year as we required a reliable automatic . It has a 1litre turbo engine benefitting from Honda’s Vtec (variable valve timing) combined with CVT (continuously variable transmission) . We were a little wary of such a small engine in a middle sized car - well we shouldn’t have worried it’s nippy, very reliable and is a joy to us Scots as it is incredibly economical- on our last trip to Scotland we averaged 57mpg cruising at the legal limits. It’s not the car if you want a sports car but if you want enjoyable, easy motoring it’s well worth a look. The hatchback is a joy for us golfers as it swallows golf clubs and an electric trolley easily. The garage gave us 5 years low cost serving and ceramic body coating - hence after 19months it looks great, is very reliable, is comfortable on a long journey and cheap to run. It will take a lot of work on electric cars to tease out of our Honda. Whilst we usually only use the car locally it is great to be able to stop only once on a trip from the Cotswolds to St Andrews. Yes it’s a great choice and made in Britain
