Economy
Value
For the performance it's excellent. Got a good price from the dealer, too. MPG can stay above 30 when not constantly putting your foot down.
Costs
Insurance high. The new Golf GTI is also group 17 but was half as much as the Honda! Not had to change front tyres yet (done 6k), but don't think they'll last long. There are better tryes out there that will last longer.

On the road
Driving
Can be a hard drive, but this helps you drive it fast. On the flip side, it'll cruise easily in 6th.
Performance
When you keep the revs on not much will beat it. It's great for overtaking a line of traffic. Some say it's let down as you have to keep it in the V-TEC zone - not true. It'll still leave most standing up to 6,000 revs.

Only done 6k. Had no problems.

The old Type R looks dates, but the 04 model makes it still look special.
Comfort
Can be hard ride, but those bucket seats are fantastic.

Alarm and deadlocks. No one has tried to pinch it yet, i think?
