They love it and are impressed with it.

Yes I would as I love the car and the gear-stick position is perfect when combined with the sports seats and interior space.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Had to go outside London for the right car. Dealer gave a 1 year warranty plus the car had a service, new tires and Honda check-up.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Honda pedigree regarding reliability and Type-R performance for the price.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Brilliant at town speeds or on the open roads. Can be noisy on the motorways but that's becasue of the ultra-low profile tyres and 17" alloys.
What's it like to park?
Easy parking although 3-point turns not as good as some due to the large turning circle.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Yes. 1st to 2nd gear synchromesh had gone so has to be replaced. Very expensive to fix. On a civic type-r owner's online forum it seems like this a relatively common fault.

Space, comfort, reliability
