Value
Initial steep depreciation offset by non-moving values later.
Costs
Fuel consumption is high, but I drive an auto version and have a lead right boot!

Driving
Obviously the CR-V is never going to set the world on fire, but I've done 50,000 miles in mine in 18 months and can't fault it for comfort etc.
Performance
See above. The CR-V really isn't much use off-road, though. I've got mine stuck a number of times!

Living with it
Reliability
Perfect. Has never broken down. Has needed just one set of tyres in 50,00 miles as well.

Would be 5*, but the new RAV-4 is a better looking vehicle.
Comfort
Great driving position, although I wish I'd gone for the leather.

Security and Service
Security
Very poor. No alarm and no luggage cover. Theives smashed my driver's side window and emptied the car completely. Didn't steal it though, so maybe it has some security!
Service
Cleaned at every service (the only washing it ever gets), prompt attention and always courteous. Can't fault Honda at all.
