Value
Costs quite a lot, but well worth it.
Costs
Only get 28mpg out of it at best, very heavy on oil and Honda dealers expensive for parts & labour.

On the road
Driving
Very good on the motorway and local roads, although it rolls quite a bit around bends. A bit too bouncy off road and 4x4 not that brilliant, don't go mud plugging in it.
Performance
Not the fastest on the road, but will keep up with most other cars of this size.

Reliability
Only problems I have had are with oil consuption, ran out of oil but warning light did not come on, engine light came on instead. Had a problem with a squeekly clutch pedal and noisy power steering, but all dealt with under warranty.

More stream lined than the boxy Land Rover/ Nissans/ Toyotas/ Mitsubishis out there, maybe not to everyones liking.
Comfort
Excellent comfortable seats back and front. Even the dogs in the back are happy.

Dogs can be left in the back without setting off alarm. Don't know whether a thief would get in or not, no one has tried.

Any problems have been fixed under warranty without question.
