Honda CR-V (2007 - 2012) 2.2 i-DTEC SE+ 5d Owner Review

I have found this vehicle to be ideal for my purposes,it has very good on road performance and handling but is also ideal for off-road usage. I am employed in agriculture and encounter very rough farm lanes and also traverse across fields. The vehicle's robust build and structure withstands it all without a bang or rattle ( I had a CRV previously which endured 5 years & 146,000 miles of this treatment!) The engine is remarkably quiet and has good torque,fuel consumption is acceptable bearing in mind the terrain I encounter.The intelligent 4 wheel drive has never let me down either. The interior space is incredible when the rear seats are folded down and the ride and cabin space is fine. The instrumentation/switches and controls are of good quality and overall very accessible. Seating is comfortale but would have liked them to be a little deeper to accommodate longer upper body lengths.It is not over endowed with gimmicks and unnecessary gadgetry/ electronics. Overall it smacks of quality, reliability and sensible engineering. Definitely one of the best cars I have owned & driven,I highly recommend this vehicle, and just hope that my next CRV will be as suitable and trustworthy.
