Value
Very affordable now - not likely to loose much more value and I suspect might eventually go up.
Costs
Lots of info on the web for DIY servicing - sorry but don't trust 17-year old technicians messing with my engine.

On the road
Driving
Very good - not much scuttle shake - just don't put big wheels on. It will destroy the ride and handling. Below 5000rpm, your granny could drive it. After 5k rpm, all hell breaks loose. Revs past 8k!!
Performance
0-60 may be 7.8 secs (quick), but 10 to 60 seems more like 4 seconds - Grrrrrrrrrrr; eat engine noise to go with it. B16a engine one of the greatest ever.

Reliability
Engine and mechanicals excellent. Electric roof can be a bit temperamental and not many people know how to fix it these days.

Quite rare and unusual, so gets a lot of admiration, especially when using the electric roof. Come on Mercedes you weren't the first - Honda did it 11 years ago.
Comfort
I'm 6' 4" and fit in very well. I can't even get in a Mazda MX5, never mind drive one.

Poor as standard. Radio is consealed by a flap and at least it has a tin top. Would recommend fitting a good alarm.
