I'm a discerning cheapskate probably.

They'll think it's as nice as I do. It's a lovely clean little car, and still looks quite modern.

Yes

It depends what mood I'm in and what I've got to spend. But the Getz will be staying!

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes. The car was as described with a local private owner. It had low miles (40,000) and was up at £1395 (paid £1300), and the seller put a new Mot on it. I'm very pleased with the car.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I was looking for a reliable economical second car at the right price. And I found one!

What was the dealer like?

What's it like to drive?

Just lovely. To be honest, it's as good a small car as I've ever owned, and I wish I'd considered this model in the past. The ride especially, is very supple and comfortable for the size of the car.

What's it like to park?

As easy as a double decker bus (I'm joking). It's a doddle, and it's got reversing sensors.

Have you had any problems with the car?

I've only had it a short while, but I'm not expecting any major probs. The only thing I had to replace after purchase was the remote release fuel filler flap (it wouldn't lock due to a broken tongue that engages with the release mechanism). I got one off Ebay for £22.in the same colour. How lucky is that!

What's most practical about your car?

It's just so easy to live with in every respect. It's reliable, easy to drive, quiet engine, nice gear change, it's got a roof, a radio... it's nice!

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

It isn't a gadgety car, but everything works as it should.
