Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

Driving an EV is totally different than driving an equivalent ICE car. The one pedal driving is something to get used to, but will make you a better driver as it forces you to adopt a more defensive driving style. However, if you put your foot down, the acceleration is simply exhilarating. There are no gear changes, the torque is instantaneous and there are not many SUV's (or other cars bar the 911's etc.) on the road that will keep up with the I-Pace when accelerating. The build quality is very good, although it does not feel like a typical Jaguar but more like an Audi or Mercedes (which is not a bad thing, unless you expect the plushness of a 1980's XJ saloon). The range varies with the ambient temperature. At lower ambient temperatures (0 deg C), the range is reduced, but has not dropped below 210 miles. With ambient temperatures at 10 - 15 deg C, the range was between 245 - 255 miles, which really is more than sufficient for day to day driving. For road trips, it just takes a little more planning but the Sat Nav shows charging points and when using a 50Kw charger, it will take 60 min or so to go from 30% charge to 90% charge. I guess that is just a small drawback to doing the right thing for the environment. The centre console interface becomes very intuitive after watching a few YouTube videos, and allows customising the varies displays on the dashboard. The cameras are of a very high quality with a clear HD picture. Which in fairness are required as the rear, and to some extend the front, view is restricted and there is no rear screen wiper. Jaguar support is very good. The car has the optional maintenance pack and when contacting Jaguar support for a tyre puncture, road side assistance was organised in an efficient manner and the car was back on the road in no time. The Jaguar phone app, on my Android phone is a stable platform albeit that its interface and functionality are a little dated. One would expect better considering the technology applied in the car. This is my first Jaguar after owing BMW's, Audi's, Porches, Mercedes, Volvo and Range Rovers but this I-Pace can compete with any of these. I rate this car as a 5 star, without the air suspension option, and I suspect that this car with air suspension is even better.

How reliable do you find the car?

Have only owned the car for 5 months, but it has been trouble free.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

After driving ICE cars for many years, driving an EV is a revelation. It is quiet, smooth and fast. Driving on snow is no problem at all and it works as well (or perhaps even better) than the RR Sport and Evoque.
