That is not something that I have really thought about. I bought the car to work, and have some fun out of it myself.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Probably like it. Never asked.

Yes. Always looks like new

Did you get a good deal and why?

I had a good deal initially. The car had been standing on the dealers forecourt for some time. I offered a straight trade price which was accepted.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I own a Wedding car company and felt that an S type would complement my Daimlers and Beaufords for use on groom service.

What was the dealer like?

It was a person that I had got to know over a period of time. Very helpfull.

What's it like to drive?

Wonderfull to drive. I get a tremendous amount of pleasure from the occasions that I use it.

What's it like to park?

No problems parking. Excellent steering lock to lock.

Have you had any problems with the car?

I had to replace the gear box about a month after I had it. Heater valve stuck, and was replaced. Two new door locking assys replaced.

What's most practical about your car?

Its appealing to potentel couples. I really like the look of it my self. Run an E240 Merc day to day. S type a lot more fun to drive!

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Memory seats.
