Economy
Value
Bought used to avoid early depreciation. Will hold value as this model is in demand (I was made 2 offers inside a week, both of which exceeded what I paid in a private sale).
Costs
Main dealer service costs very reasonable. Haven't had any additional work done so unable to comment further. Quoted an inflated price for addition of CD autochanger (only Jag's own is compatible, apparently) so have decided to live without it.

On the road
Driving
Compared to more 'everyday' cars, this is a dream to drive.
Performance
X-Type not a true 'performance' car (whatever derivative) and I chose an auto for convenience. But just select 'sport', put the pedal to the floor and hear the beautiful sound of the V6 as she accelerates… wonderful!

Living with it

This created more of a stir in the office than my previous BMW 3-Series. There's something about the Jaguar marque. Jag have got the styling bang on with this model.

Plenty of passenger room, seats comfortable yet firm.
