Slowly becoming future classics. Buy while cheap.

Ok. Headlamp modules are pricey (2 of them- £200) and are not guaranteed against failure, despite recon.

    Driving

    5 out of 5 5.0

Fantastic. Being XJR model, corners like a dream and is relaxed when wanted as well as aggresive when wanted.

    Performance

    5 out of 5 5.0

Mind-blowing, humble when needed. At top end, has addictive exhaust note as well as pace.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    3 out of 5 3.0

    So far so good.

    Image

    4 out of 5 4.0

Being Jaguar Sport XJR, has bodykit, so gets looks, especially when doing 150mph with ease when allowed (tracks etc.)

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Sports leather Recaro seats by Jag - supportive and comfortable. Not entirely sports based, but enough based.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    Good locks.

  • Problems and Ownership

    Problems

    Engine

Bulletproof unit. Only use 10W40 semi-synth oil. Others too thin (smokes at top end) and others are too thick. Recommended by dealer and specialists.

    Other

Mine's the XJ40 XJR. Parts can be hard to track down for it (seats, bodykit, wheels, engine parts etc). Luckily, it's solid.
