Realistically need £2 grand a year for unscheduled maintenance unfortunately. Keep car off road during winter months due to salty roads as one winter can kill off your xj8 and then when the tears start fellas. Have £ 2 grand ready for gearbox rebuilds at any given time. Do that and you're in for a treat to a beautiful car that's a timeless Beauty and rides like a rolls royce and driven like a Ferrari when needed.
